The Laurel Heritage Museum
The Laurel Heritage Museum is open:
Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Laurel Heritage Museum features an extensive collection of historical documents and objects displayed in the restored Laurel Train Station. The key element of the museum is the one-of-a-kind Waller Photographic Collection, which has been recognized as a premier historical collection by the Delaware Public Archives and the University of Delaware.
Visitors, if coming any distance, are advised to call beforehand to ensure someone is there when you plan to arrive. Their number is: 302-875-9319. The building is located at 215 Mechanic St in Laurel, behind the Town Hall on S. Popular St.
At other times, and on weekends, special tours or purchase of LHS books & memorabilia can be arranged by calling 302-875-2820
The Cook House Museum

The Cook House Museum is open year-round on an by appointment basis by calling 302-875-2820. Admission is FREE, however donations are appreciated.
The Cook House contains the offices of the Laurel Historical Society, as well as a large number of photos and artifacts that help to tell the story of Laurel and the residents who call it home.
